A brightening, subtly stimulating blend of herbs with stellar reputations for enhancing cognitive function. Ginkgo, gotu kola, holy basil, ginger, lemon balm, and calamus combine to warm and stimulate circulation, increasing blood flow to the brain, bringing more nutrients and oxygen and carrying away waste. Ginkgo and gotu kola in particular each have a robust body of clinical data backing up their efficacy.
I formulated this blend for myself as sort of an alternative to the prescription medication I took for many years. After years taking this medication daily and weaning off of it slowly, I found myself dull, lethargic, not myself without the drug, for some time. As I began studying herbalism, I began taking an early version of this formula. I now believe this formula helped me to heal and dispel the mental fog that had set in and was slow to clear out. This is not an herbal ______. Fill in the blank with the stimulant drug of the moment. While it is a stimulant formula, it is a stimulant in the sense of stimulating blood flow and the function of the organs, not in the sense of pushing our body past its limits for the sake of performance. It is a gentle, subtle medicine that you may notice in the moment, as well as over time. Allow a month of daily use to feel the plants' tonic effects.

This product is made from fresh plants sustainably grown and wild-harvested in the NC Piedmont. Ginkgo from trees at the local college, gotu kola and ginger from a small sustainable farm in Cedar Grove. The holy basil and lemon balm are from my garden as well as my friends' gardens. The calamus I harvested wild from a field that is basically a giant gnarled mat of calamus.

One ounce contains 15 2-mL servings. Taken at 2 mL 2x/day, one ounce will last about a week. This standard dosage is for a 150 pound adult and may be adjusted in proportion to the weight of the user. For instance, a 30 pound child would take 1/5 of the 2 mL dose, or 2/5 mL, about half a dropperful. We are happy to help determine the dosage.
